Sparhawk School presents Big Art For All Humans, our annual open studios and community art creation weekend. Join us for live silkscreening, large scale sculpture creation, free take home art projects, HUGE spin art and so much more! This event is a huge hit for children of all ages. Best of all, it's free!
This event is part of Amesbury Open Studios. If you are doing the whole studio tour, hop on their free trolley!

The Beverly High School Music Department will host its third annual electronic recycling event on Saturday, November 4 from 8 a.m. to noon at the BHS parking lot. For a fee, drop off your old electronics at the BHS parking lot. Recycle your unwanted televisions, air conditioners, appliances, phones, fire extinguishers and much more. Come explore the Crane Estate trails in this season between the chaos of summer and the quiet of winter. We’ll take note of the ways nature gets ready to rest – the preparations that plants and animals make to survive the snowfall that will arrive in a matter of weeks. Bring your sharp senses and your skills of observation! This is an outdoor adventure for the whole family! We’ll end our ramble with a campfire and hot chocolate.

Nobuntu is a “Five Part” A’cappella Vocal ensemble made up of young women from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The name Nobuntu is an African concept that values humbleness, love, purpose, unity and family from a woman’s perspective. Their repertoire is a fusion of traditional Zimbabwean rooted music, Afro Jazz, Gospel and Crossover in pure voices with minimalistic percussion, traditional instruments such as Mbira and some dance movements. See them here in their ONLY Boston Area performance before they appear at Lincoln Center in NYC.
