Salem Arts Festival 2024

The Salem Arts Festival is a joint project of Salem Main Streets and Creative Collective in Salem Massachusetts

For three days, this annual family friendly art festival transforms downtown Salem into an opportunity for the arts community to showcase their talents. The popular free event will feature many artists and performers, and includes a variety of art, music, dance, and theatre performances. The family-friendly festival also includes art-making for all ages, artisan vendors selling their creations, and a temporary public art installation.

Firehouse Center: February Vacation Teen Intensive

Kids ages 13-17 are invited to a theater acting vacation workshop at the Firehouse Center of the Arts in Newburyport Massachusetts

Kids ages 13-17 are encouraged to enroll in a week long intensive program focused on theater acting techniques during February Vacation week! During this week, each individual will have the opportunity to explore improvisation, theatre games, and delve into an intense, week-long rehearsal process for Disney’s High School Musical. They will be educated in music, acting, and dance all while working towards three final performances on Friday, February 24th at 7:00 PM, Saturday, February 25th at 7:00 PM and Sunday, February 26th at 2:00 PM.

Playtime Stories offers young children the unique opportunity to experience the fun and magic of live theatre at the Gloucester Stage Company in Gloucester Massachusetts

Playtime Stories offers young children the unique opportunity to experience the fun and magic of live theatre as they watch their favorite books come to life onstage. Glee Club Vacation Workshop

The Firehouse has a Glee Club program for April Vacation Week.

The Firehouse Center for the Arts is offering a week-long April vacation program of voice instruction and choreographed pop and Broadway show tunes ending with a public performance on Fri, April 20. Areas of instruction include the basics of good breath support, posture and vocal production, and performance techniques... all while having fun singing the songs kids love!  Kids will be able to bond with friends through song and fulfill their desire to be on stage performing the music they enjoy!

Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras will perform a Thanksgiving concert to benefit the Ipswich Community Food Pantry.
