Salem Arts Festival 2025

The Salem Arts Festival is a joint project of Salem Main Streets and Creative Collective in Salem Massachusetts

For three days, this annual family friendly art festival transforms downtown Salem into an opportunity for the arts community to showcase their talents. The popular free event will feature many artists and performers, and includes a variety of art, music, dance, and theatre performances. The family-friendly festival also includes art-making for all ages, artisan vendors selling their creations, and a temporary public art installation.

North Andover Farmers Market every Sunday Through October 2, 2022

The North Andover Farmers Market is the perfect destination for anyone living in the Merrimack Valley or the North Shore to shop and enjoy locally-sourced products. The market will take place in the center of town at the intersection of First Street and Main Street. The market has become known for its wide variety of fresh food, unique local vendors, and live music! With more than 20 vendors each week, live music, food trucks and other surprises, it's a great way to spend a Sunday morning!  So join us Sunday mornings... grab a cookie or a scone and coffee while strolling the market! Predator vs. Prey | Family Nature Series

Essex County Greenbelt teams up with North Shore Nature Programs for a wildlife hike in Ipswich Massachusetts!

Look for signs of our local predators on the prowl and learn about how prey animals have evolved to evade them in this family-friendly walk. Appropriate for all ages - we’ll talk scientifically about what types of animals are predators or prey, without going into especially gory details.

Salem Common Neighborhood Association invites families to the Common for an afternoon of fun for the whole family!

There's nothing like October in Salem and the Salem Common Neighborhood Association is thrilled to host two weekends of our annual Kids Fun Fest on the Common including rides, face painting, slides and family fun! There is no admission fee to enter the Fun Fest. Ticket purchase proceeds benefit the Salem Common Neighborhood Association.

Forest River Park Salem CoastSweep

Come help with the Coastsweep cleanup of the Forest River Park in Salem, Massachusetts!

As part of COASTSWEEP Beach Cleanup, volunteers are encouraged to come to Forest River Park to help in the statewide effort to keep our coastline clean along the shore of Salem Massachusetts. Trash collected will be measured and analyzed, and the data will be sent to Washington DC to aid the government in creating legislation to minimize trash in our oceans!
