Located on the beautiful 250 acre lakeshore campus of the Brooks School in North Andover, MA; Brooks Summer Programs comes alive every summer to offer extraordinary opportunities for children aged 4-18. Now in our 45th season, programs ranging from Day Camp, Computer Camp, Teen Quest and Summer School are specifically designed to meet a wide variety of interests.
WaringWorks is a full-day program for ages 7-13 that involves visual arts, theater, outdoor exploration, music, and more.

WaringWorks Jr. at Waring School in Beverly is a half-day or full day program for kids ages 5-7 that involves arts and crafts, movement, outdoor play, jewelry-making, theater, yoga, games and more. The half day program will run 9am-1pm daily. If you would like to register your child for a full day, that can be accommodated for an additional fee.
Looking for an enriching and engaging summer program for your child? Waring School in Beverly, Massachusetts, is excited to offer an exceptional photography workshop tailored for kids in grades 6-8! Running from July 8-12, 9am to noon, this workshop provides a unique opportunity for your child to explore "The Art and Science of Darkroom Photography" and "The Art of Film-Camera Photography." This hands-on workshop will ignite your child's creativity, teach valuable skills, and offer a deep dive into the fascinating world of traditional photography.
Theater in the Open hosts their Summer Arts Workshop is a fun-filled, out-door, adventurous way to learn and grow at Maudslay State Park in Newburyport. It is a place where young people have the opportunity to be creative and build lasting relationships with their peers in a safe, non-competitive environment designed for personal and artistic growth. Our professional staff of artists and educators is dedicated to providing our students with a positive, creative, artistic experience.
Girls Rock Boston is a week long summer program for girls ages 8 to 17 working to empower and encourage positive self esteem through music education and performance. During each session, girls receive instrument instruction (guitar, bass, drums, vocals or keyboards), form a band, write an original song, and perform at a sold out rock venue- in just one week. As well as band formations, band coaching, and band practice- we include workshops such as self- defense, songwriting, women in rock history and screen printing. Kingsley Pines Family Camp is designed to give all ages the opportunity to have as much fun as children have at Kingsley Pines Camp! There are a variety of options for families to be together and for adults and children to enjoy some time on their own. Kingsley Pines is a complete family resort facility located on Panther Lake in Raymond, Maine. With a beautiful private sandy beach, 80 acres of old tall pine trees and a crystal clear lake with an average temperature between 75° and 80°, Kingsley Pines is sure to be a fantastic family experience.
The Boston Ballet School North Shore Studio at the Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA in Marblehead offers Summer programs and classes for kids aged 3 and up. Classes are age appropriate and focus on the skills required to bring your child to the next level. Coed programs range from standard ballet class for 3-7 year olds to more intensive workshops for tweens and teens.
Registration is open for the ACT Jr. and ACT Kids Summer Educational Programs. The summer show for ACT Jr. is the new musical, Addams Family, and the ACT Kids show is HONK! These great summer theater camp programs which feature classes in acting, dance, and music as well as technical theater with talented staff and professionals.
Summer Shore Camps run June 16 through August 22. Summer Shore Camps including Boston Red Sox Baseball Summer Camp and Boston Children’s Theatre. Shore Country Day School offers a variety of Summer Shore Camps focusing on both sports and enrichment. Full- and half-day camps are available and welcome students in grades 1-10.
