International Ballet Summer Workshop - Estonia

Young Dancer Ballet Intensive Programme 2020 held June 29^th – July 9^th in the Estonian National Opera.

Open to ballet students from 12 to 15 years of age and students from professional schools, public or private. This program is designed for young dancers who want a challenging summer dance experience, guaranteed to improve their level of technique and prepare them for the next school year. The Young Dancer Intensive program includes ballet technique, pointe, preparatory pointe, introduction to variations, contemporary and floor ballet barre/Pilates.

Theater in the Open Summer Workshops

Theater in the Open hosts their Summer Arts Workshop is a fun-filled, out-door, adventurous way to learn and grow at Maudslay State Park in Newburyport. It is a place where young people have the opportunity to be creative and build lasting relationships with their peers in a safe, non-competitive environment designed for personal and artistic growth. Our professional staff of artists and educators is dedicated to providing our students with a positive, creative, artistic experience.

At Mariana's Dancing Studio in Ipswich, MA we strive to offer a complete array of Dance styles, making the development of our students' joy and passion our first priority. Through the years, since our doors first opened in 2006, we have witnessed and experienced first-hand the impact that dance, as an art form, has on children of all ages, as well as adults.

Dancing can be compared to any sport as far as physical training is concerned: it is an excellent way to develop flexibility, strength, stamina, aerobic capacity, balance, gracefulness, and more.

Boston Ballet School Summer Programs

oston Ballet School offers Ballet Stories and Ballet Journeys for our youngest students in an age-appropriate and fun environment!

The Boston Ballet School North Shore Studio at the Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA in Marblehead offers Summer programs and classes for kids aged 3 and up. Classes are age appropriate and focus on the skills required to bring your child to the next level. Coed programs range from standard ballet class for 3-7 year olds to more intensive workshops for tweens and teens.

Modern Dance Class with Jill Haney

Jill Haney at The Studio teaches classes in modern dance technique to teenagers ages 14-18, at four technical levels ranging from beginner to advanced dancer. Modern dance is one of the most innovative dance forms around. From Martha Graham, Doris Humphrey, and Charles Weidman, to Merce Cunningham, Paul Taylor, Twyla Tharp, Mark Morris, modern dance has pushed dance as an art form to its edges and beyond.
