St. Michael's holds its famous Lobster Luncheon during the Marblehead Festival of Arts over the Fourth of July weekend. All proceeds from the luncheon, after expenses, support local and global ministries. Tours of St. Michael's historic building and a free organ concert are typically offered during this event.

This popular event begins with a workshop where participants construct model boats from provided kits at the Lee Mansion Gardens and ends with a competitive regatta at Redd's Pond. These small treasures are more than just toys—they really sail. This fun and educational activity is perfect for the whole family.
Come to the Marblehead Street Festival at Bank Square (intersection of Washington and Hooper Street). This festival is a fun tradition that's part of 4th of July celebrations! There will be something for everyone including magic, street performers, live music, face painting, sidewalk chalk art, henna tattoos, fairy houses, juggling, hula hoops and more.
Register to build a sandcastle or sculpture together! Entry is free and open to all ages and families at the start of the event. Please bring your own buckets, shovels, and building tools! Entries will be judged by a small team of local children, and prizes given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as a Spirit Award.
The Children's Festival is a fun-filled program of arts and activities designed especially for children aged ten years and younger. All activities are free of charge, providing an excellent opportunity for young children to explore their creativity and engage in interactive fun. It is important to note that all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Young in Age or Young at Heart - All ages welcomed to Art on The Avenue located on Atlantic Avenue part of the Marblehead Festival of Arts. Paint your own pottery with Hestia Creations, make jewelry with EOS studio, learn about plants from Marblehead Garden Center or connecting with mini horses. Face painting and other arts booths will be available up and down Atlantic Avenue. Enjoy the arts, shopping, and dining in another one of our favorite parts of town!
Get ready to lace up those running shoes because it's time for the MFoA 5k and 10k! And guess what? We've got something new this year – a 1-mile Fun Run! We're dishing out awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age division and the top 3 teams will receive awards too!
Chalk This Way is Marblehead Festival of the Arts inaugural event highlighting 23 amateur and professional chalk artists who will transform our sidewalks into a captivating one-of-a-kind arts experience. Sidewalk Art will be distributed throughout the main areas of town and where other festival activities are happening.
