Team Haverhill's River Ruckus is an annual city-wide festival celebrating the natural resources and beauty of the Merrimack River and the economic and cultural revitalization of the City of Haverhill, MA. Presented by Team Haverhill, a community-based volunteer organization, the festival attracts over 5,000 visitors and residents for a day of family activities including a Classic Car show, live music produced by 92.5 The River, children's activities in the Kids Zone, food from local restaurants, an art exhibition, a crafts show, and spectacular fireworks over the mighty Merrimack River! THRR takes place in the Haverhill Riverfront Cultural District on Washington Street and the RiverWalk.
The Gloucester Schooner Festival is a wonderful celebration of Gloucester's fishing and maritime history during labor day weekend. This year's festival, hosted by Maritime Gloucester, is Gloucester’s major marine event, with participating vessels coming from ports along the Eastern seaboard and beyond. There will be both large and small vessels—ranging from 19 feet to over 100 feet in length. You will see new boats and old boats, from newly built (Ardelle - launched 2011) to over 100 years old!
Following the Gloucester Schooner Festival's Parade of lights in Gloucester Harbor, A fireworks display will light up the sky over Gloucester Harbor to celebrate a great day of maritime history and tradition. Good vantage points for viewing fireworks include Gloucester's Boulevard, Stage Fort Park, Pavilion Beach
Salisbury Beach hosts fireworks every Saturday night through the Summer - weather permitting. Each show is preceded by a live concert. They also make an exception on the 4th of July, so grab a blanket and pack up the whole crew for fireworks on the beach!
Come to Rockport Massachusetts for a day of family fun! Following the Rockport Rotary Club Lobsterfest - Canceled, a fireworks display will light up the sky over Rockport Massachusetts! The Show begins at 9pm, and will be lit off from Granite Pier. The show will last for 20-25 Minutes, and may just include a couple of surprises according to the fireworks committee.
The Annual Revere Beach National Sand Sculpting Festival is a fun family event that inspires the inner artist in all of us! The festival is a greatly anticipated annual summer event in the Greater Boston area with approximately 1 million attendees over 3 days. Master sand sculptors from around the world compete in this national contest that attracts international, national and regional media coverage. 2022’s theme will be “Wonders of the World”.
Amesbury Days fireworks display will be on July 4th! Beginning at around 9pm. Food vendors, favorites from years past and a couple of new ones added in for your enjoyment. Parking is available at Woodsom Farm, Cashman Elementary School, or Amesbury High School.
Independence Day in Marblehead is an all-day event on the harbor front that begins at 10am with the Horribles Parade, composed of unusual and sometimes opinioned home-made floats, music, and other parading favorites. For the rest of the day, the waterfront is lively with music, food, and family activities. The day ends with the Harbor Illumination and Fireworks.
Beverly Farms has a lot going on for the 4th of July including cookouts, softball games, live music, a parade and, of course, fireworks! Come celebrate Independence Day filled with history and community tradition!
