Teens and tweens: Stop by the Children's Room and make your own pet rock! Unlike most pets, these guys won't bite, they're never hungry, and they won't have any embarrassing accidents on the floor!
Lights, Camera, Nature! is a nature filmmaking class for kids ages 9-12! We will venture into the nearby wilds with a professional naturalist and a local filmmaker. Kids will explore the wildlife and capture the action on their cameras. When finished with shooting they will work in a small team to craft a fun story, then use simple editing software to create and edit their movie.
Join watercolorist Brenda Sloane in a monthly program that combines nature and art. We will start with a walk on the sanctuary to observe the topic of the month. We will then return to the Nature Center to create a follow-up work of art.

The Children's Museum of New Hampshire and the NHSPCA team up to help kids learn about animal care! Kids and animals go together like peanut butter and jelly. From a young age, children are fascinated by animals and love to lavish affection on their pets. Sometimes, they can be a little overzealous, though, and that’s where humane education comes in, helping kids understand the best ways to interact with their pets.

(for you to eat and/or give as gifts) Bring ONE WRAPPED BOOK with you. The book should be in good condition, and one you think other teens will enjoy. (Wrapping paper will be available in case you forget to wrap your book or need help.) Registration required so we have enough cookies for all!
