As part of COASTSWEEP Beach Cleanup, volunteers are encouraged to come to Salisbury Beach State Reservation to help in the statewide effort to keep our coastline clean along the shore in Salisbury, Massachusetts. Trash collected will be measured and analyzed, and the data will be sent to Washington DC to aid the government in creating legislation to minimize trash in our oceans!

The spirit of Oktoberfest is taking over Appleton Farms for one very special Saturday! We’ll have unique food offerings from Revelry Food Truck, Whoopie Pie Wagon, and our own wood-fired pizza from the Appleton Culinary Team! There will be lawn games, traditional German Hammerschlagen, a stein-holding competition, local breweries on site, and live music from artists Wunder Kapelle (a traditional German oompah band) and Marina Evans.

Cruiseport Gloucester and The Open Door invite you to a celebration of community spirit! Each year, The Open Door Autumn Breakfast kicks off the holiday giving season and raises funds for Holiday Meal Baskets (and beyond). Pet Rock by the Sea  is a fun afternoon in one of Salem MA's beautiful historic parks - Winter Island. Enjoy an open air Pavillion with food from local favorites Lulu's Bakery, shop clothing and accessories, meet a local author, learn about local shelters and enjoy music from great local musicians. Plus raffles, prizes and a silent auction - all to benefit a great cause, The Northeast Animal Shelter.
