Discover a park perk of Maudslay when you stop by the interpretation station. The park interpreter will provide details highlighting the Terrific Trees in that area. The Station location will be posted on the board in front of park headquarters.
Come to Sudden Pond for a day of fishing for all ages! No experience is necessary as experts from MassWildlife Angler Education Program will be on hand to help you catch the big one! All fishing equipment is provided, parking is free, and no license required. An adult must accompany children.

Join Maudslay State Park interpreter on a tour of the former Moseley Family estate. There are so many stories about this beautiful former estate. Join the park interpreter for a three-part history tour series that includes viewing both house sites, the gardens and farm complex area plus the barns to learn more about these parts of the Moseley Family estate.
Join the Park Interpreter on this easy to moderate 2-mile hike and discover the story of the Civilian Conservation Corps along the way. Bring water and a snack. Wear sturdy footwear. For ages 6 and up. Meet at the Jenkins Parking Lot, 87 Harold Parker Road, Andover.
Meet at Campground Nature Center- For ages 6 and up. This is a moderate guided hike to the remnants of the Jenkins family blue soapstone quarry. A great way to learn about the park’s history and resources while getting some exercise.
Meet at Frye Pond Beach - Fish, frogs, snakes, and salamanders, let’s discover what lives in our tranquil New England ponds! Nets and buckets are provided. This activity can be wet and muddy. Recommend bringing water, insect repellent, sun screen, binoculars and camera. Appropriate for all ages.
Through visuals, puppets, and live Bats, learn about their natural history, importance to the planet’s ecosystem, current challenges they face, and how we can help them.
