Pumpkin Fest was rained out, but there was still a chance to carve pumpkins! All carved pumpkins will be put on display at Weaver Pond in Patton Park for all to see. Come check out the spooky, the silly and the creative ways that friends and neighbors carved their Halloween Jack-o-Lanterns.
Visiting Castle Hill at Christmas is a time-honored tradition for many New England families. Don't miss this year's spectacular "Christmas by the Sea". Each room in our 1920s mansion is festively decorated by florists, designers, garden clubs, or volunteers. You'll find live music and dance, fresh baked cookies and cider, a treasure hunt, family activities, and a visit with Santa.
The Little House: Her Story features the work of beloved children's book author & illustrator and founder of the Folly Cove Designers Virginia Lee Burton (1909-1968). In addition to Burton's drawings, book illustrations and prints, an artfully-created scale model of her "Little House," which was fabricated in Japan for an exhibition held at the Gallery A4 in Tokyo last year, will also be on display in the gallery.

Come to the farm kitchen to learn all the basics for making delicious country-style pies including techniques on tender pie crust, rolling & assembly, and proper baking.…..all while keeping it fun, simple, and stress-free. Everyone will make & take home an unbaked 9" deep dish Apple-Cranberry Pie to bake for the holiday! Plus, we'll savor and share the recipe for another seasonal pie favorite! Additional pie recipes will be included in the recipe book, and class will enjoy coffee & pie at the end of the workshop. BYOB is allowed.

Through music, choreography, and comedy, bubble - in all different shapes and sizes - come alive, sparking the imagination and wonder. Exploring science through bubbles creates an entertaining learning environment that introduces shapes, colors, and chemistry. A love for bubbles is never outgrown - especially when there's a chance to see the world from inside of one!
Join our five princesses and a fairy friend for a Royal Halloween Party! Limited space, so don’t wait! This party will include story time, interactive songs and dances, games, costume contest, crafts and goody bags! Very light spooky snacks will be available. It’s sure to be an event to remember! We will be in a Gazebo clearly marked!
Join Appleton Farms for the Down on the Farm Fall Concert Series at Appleton Farms! These family-friendly concerts will feature live music, food trucks, lawn games, and an opportunity to meet our dairy cows and farm animals. series continues with a performance by Rust Never Sleeps. Bring your own picnic or purchase food from Joe's on a Roll and CopperDome Pizza. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase from Ipswich Ale and Old Planters Brewing.
Want to carve your very own pumpkin, or three? Come to the farm to help get our pumpkins ready for Appleton Farms Barnyard Trick or Treat! Families are welcome to bring snacks & BYOB to enjoy while carving. All pumpkins have to stay on the farm for the trail, but if you help carve a few we encourage you to come for FREE and see if you can find your own creation along the way!
