The Pan-Mass Challenge Cape Ann Kids' Ride will be one of many PMC Kids Rides held in neighborhoods throughout New England and beyond. Through the PMC Kids Rides program, nearly 6,000 cyclists between the ages of two and 15 will ride between one and 26 miles in mini-bike-a-thons to raise money for cancer research.
Make sure to visit the Riverside Cycle Tannery Tent on Sunday, April 24th from 10 am – 2 pm for the annual community bike swap, hosted by the locally based Pan Mass Challenge Team, The Riverside Rockets. This is an amazing opportunity to pick up used bikes at very reasonable prices, while helping support important fundraising efforts. If your interested in selling or donating bikes drop them off at Riverside between 9 am – 5 pm, April 16th and 23rd. Whether you’re, buying, selling or donating, a portion of all proceeds will go to the Jimmy Fund to help fight cancer as well as the Coastal Trails Coalition to help improve our local bike trails.
Essex County Greenbelt Association will host the annual road cycle event to raise funds for conservation efforts on the North Shore! Cycling enthusiasts of all abilities can ride through some of Essex County’s most beautiful landscapes in this annual road cycle event to benefit local land conservation. Whether a seasoned road cyclist or a beginner, you can enjoy at your own pace one of three routes offered by Tour de Greenbelt: a 100 mile ride, a half-century (50 miles), a shorter route (25 miles), and a 40-mile Gravel Grinder Route, with off-road excursions into protected forests and reservations. The routes showcase more than 50 of Greenbelt’s exquisite conserved properties. there is a vritual option for the week of September 11-18 in 2021.
Come to this fun family-friendly sporting event that includes a kids bike race and parade in downtown Beverly Massachusetts! This professional road race runs a short circuit through the streets of Beverly, with categories for amateur, master and elite riders! Its an evening of fun for the whole whether you're a spectator or a participant!
This is the 17th year of Reid's Ride 28-Mile Bike Ride. Because of social-distancing and other restriction imposed by COVID last year and continuing to this year, we have had to run this and last year's Reid's Ride as Virtual Events. Hopefully in 2022 we'll resume our traditional event as a group bike ride from Lynnfield High School to our finish line activities at Stage Fort Park Gloucester for music, refreshments, awards, raffles and booths.

Come join the fun, camaraderie and inspiration at the PMC Greater Newburyport Kids Ride as kids ages 3-13 ride the Clipper City Rail Trail or a tricycle obstacle course at Cashman Park to raise money for Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s Jimmy Fund. Many kids, many bikes, one mission…cure cancer! Refreshments, entertainment and fun! Pre-register online or on site!
The Gran Prix of Gloucesteris two days of international calibre races where competitors from all over the US, Canada & Europe converge to race in North America by the sea at Stage Fort Park in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Cyclocross is the most spectator-friendly form of bicycle racing, so bring the family and join the excitement. Who knows? Maybe next year someone in your family will be part of the action! Do you have a kid or two that wants to get their mountain bike on the trails but aren't sure how to get them started? Or does your child ride at school and want to go out with you? We've got the perfect ride for you! How technical the ride is will depend on participant ability and we are happy to give tips and instruction as we go. We meet up behind Gordon College and loop through their trails for about an hour.
