North Shore Free Concerts for North Shore Families at Patton Park in Hamilton Massachusetts

Come enjoy community and music each Sunday in Patton Park! Dust off your lawn chairs and bring your picnic down to the park on Sunday evenings. We have a fantastic line up of bands this summer ---presented by Institution for Savings Bank and sponsored by The Community House, Town of Hamilton, HW Cultural Council, and the Town of Wenham. Special thanks to the Friends of the Wenham COA and the Wenham Village Improvement Society. We appreciate all the support!

Tide Pool Exploration at Halibut Point

The tide pools at Halibut Point State Park in Rockport Massachusetts are some of the best in New England!

Halibut Point State Park invites families to join them on a tide pool adventure! See a great diversity of life at the rocky shore. Discover and identify different tide level zones and the unique creatures that cat these habitats their home. Learn about how salinity and exposure facilitate different creatures to live in these zones. Heavy rain cancels.

Annual Beverly Homecoming Pickleball Shootout

this great game embodies a little bit of Tennis, racquetball and ping pong in an easy to learn fun to play sport.

Space is limited. Year two of this fantastic event will allow the participants to take part in a fun, healthy and exciting day of sunshine and competition. This competition will be a “Shootout” format. A Shootout is an individually-ranked, round-robin. In such a format, those participating in the pickleball shootout will be placed in groups of four or five in the order of their position (ranking) on the ladder.

Beverly Homecoming Grand Finale of Fireworks. Enjoy the fireworks by boat, or on your favorite Beverly Beach with your neighbors, friends, and family. Thank you for celebrating Beverly with us this week! We look forward to many more years of “Celebrating Beverly’s spirit”! The fireworks are set off in Mackerel Cove off of Lynch Beach and can be seen all along Mackerel Cove (Dane St. Beach, Independence Park). This event is sponsored by all of you and the Beverly Homecoming Committee.

Annual Newburyport High Street Mile

The Annual High street Mile includes categories for kids races and is part of Newburyport Yankee Homecoming!

Now in its 31st year, this one mile road race, occurring during Newburyport's Historic Yankee Homecoming Festival. It features multiple races including a children's heat with medals for all the little finishers! Cash prizes for overall and age group winners! There will be snacks and beverages at the finish line and beer tickets for a free beer and post race viewing party at the Winner's Circle Sport's Bar post race! Proceeds to benefit Winner's Circle Running Club and Newburyport All-Sports Boosters.

US Coast Guard Station Tours

Tour the Newburyport Coast Guard station as part of Newburyport Yankee Homecoming.

The Coast Guard Station in Newburyport stands as a testament to over 100 years of service to the opening of the Merrimack River and the coastal regions from the North Shore to Portsmouth, NH. Join us as we honor the men and women who serve our City at the U.S. Coast Guard Station on the Merrimack River.  The station will be open to the public on Thursday August 1st from 10:00am – 2:00pm giving tours and providing life saving techniques while discussing the hazards of the Merrimack River entrance.
