One of Beverly's most familiar landmarks, this lighthouse commands a spectacular view of Salem Sound, and 3 other lighthouses. An enduring monument to Beverly's nautical heritage, it is one of 5 Massachusetts lighthouses that still retains its original Fresnel lens.
Pickleball is a great game embodies a little bit of Tennis, racquetball and ping pong in an easy to learn fun to play sport. The first annual Beverly Homecoming Pickleball Tournament will be held at Obear Park in Beverly. Must preregister to enter. Space is limited. This competition will be a “Shootout” format.
This is a free event held at Balch Park, Balch Street, Beverly, with a focus on bonding and creating comradery within our community. For grades 5th-8th. Teams of 4 on 4 with a goalie. All equipment will be provided. Games will be held throughout the day. Team assignment and game time provided at close of registration. Each player will receive a free t-shirt. Water will be provided. Maximum number of participants is 50 players from Beverly. DJ for Music/Announcements.
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.. Bring your family, a blanket, a picnic dinner and enjoy the beauty of a Summer night under the stars! The Snack Bar will be open for the movie.
The Beverly Police Department and the Kiwanis Club of Beverly will host their annual bicycle safety rodeo at Lynch Park. All who attend will be instructed in bicycle safety, and all can participate in a safety obstacle course. There will also be bike inspections, free helmets (quantities limited) and more!
Don't miss this historic Beverly Homecoming 5K Road Race while supporting Corner Stone, our collaborative program that provides free membership and support to individuals with cancer, those in treatment/recovery and their immediate families! The neighbors line the streets to cheer you on along this flat course that stretches through ocean side suburbs and ends with a fast, picturesque finish. It’s Homecoming!
The Lip Sync returns with a bang during Homecoming week, as parks and camps look to dance their way to victory! This special competition will be sure to provide some stellar songs and dances for the entire city of Beverly to see. Who will win!? All parks and camps look to get revenge on Centerville, the current reigning champs. The renewed rivalry between Counselors and CITs will also be at the forefront of this fantastic event.
