The Patricia Lockwood Bach Scholarship for the Arts is pleased to announce a May 20th fundraising event at Marblehead Little Theatre. The Bach Scholarship is awarded to a Marblehead High School graduating senior who intends to pursue higher education in the creative arts.
A Cape Ann holiday tradition, the Cape Ann Symphony Pops is a celebration of with favorites by Anderson, Bach, Herbert, Tchaikovsky, Rutter, Handel and more. The orchestra will be joined by the Cape Ann Symphony Chorus directed by Wendy Betts. We will conclude with the ever popular audience sing-along.

This year you can look forward to touring Peru, Sweden, India, China, Japan, Italy, Brazil, Morocco, and the Azores.
The morning will end with live performances. Enjoy Chinese Instrumental music, the Lawrence High School Youth Dance Company, and Roberto Chuica – Peruvian Folklore.

“Aurora Over the Silk Road” is an interactive workshop created and produced by teen siblings Yasmine and Anthony as the culmination of a homeschooling project. The brother-sister duo founded Yasmanth Inc. to take their presentation on tour around the country. Bring a friend, pick and choose the days you’d like to attend, or try it out for the first time. This 2.5-hour drop-off program on Wednesday afternoons provides your child with immersive, farm-based play and chores that foster social-emotional learning, wellbeing, and a love of nature. Skilled educators with a flair for fun and a knack for outdoor skills supervise your young farmers as they explore the barnyard, garden, and trails. This entirely-outdoors program uses our historic Carriage Barn (where the goats live!) for shelter in severe weather.
