From February 1 through March 15, Cradles to Crayons®, the Boston Bruins, Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and Wonderfund are coming together with organizations in your community to collect new pajamas for local children living in low-income and homeless situations. This years' goal is to collect 10,000 pairs of pajamas. By supporting us with a PJ Drive, you will directly supply new pajamas to the children who need them most so they can stay warm for a good night’s sleep. Golfers of all abilities come out for a best ball scramble in support of public education at the Annual NEF Open Golf Tournament. Dinner, auction and raffle follow a great day on the links. The Annual NEF Open will be at Wentworth By The Sea Country Club in Rye, NH. Ticket price includes box lunch and dinner.
Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center is excited to announce our 12th annual White Ribbon event, Pledge for Change. We invite the members of our communities to gather together and pledge their support to end gender-based violence. This evening event will raise critically needed funds for our Youth Empowerment Services (YES). The Center’s YES programs work to foster healthy, safe and equitable relationships for youth, and help them thrive through meaningful connections in safer communities.
Come to Flatbread Pizza - Georgetown for great wood-fired, home-made flatbread pizza and help the Friends of the Amesbury Public Library raise funds for their programs! It’s the most WONDERFUL time of the year! It’s Ice Cream for Breakfast Day! Celebrate (in person) once again with Cherry Farm Creamery on Saturday, February 3rd. We will open early that day at 8:30am. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to support the Danvers People to People Food Pantry.
Our annual ice cream for breakfast event is also a fundraiser! For $10 you will get 2 scoops of ice cream between a Belgian waffle, and, in Putnam Pantry fashion, you can top your own sundae. We will be offering special toppings on our ice cream smorgasbord and special ice cream flavor offerings. 50% of proceeds will be donated to the Care Dimensions Hospice Houses.
