Join Salem Main Streets and the City of Salem as we celebrate two of our most beloved annual traditions – Santa’s Arrival and the lighting of Salem’s Holiday Tree – all in one evening. Santa Claus will arrive at the top of the Hawthorne Hotel (18 Washington Square W) promptly at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, with assistance from the Salem Fire Department, of course. Organizers recommend arriving to the Salem Common by 5:45 p.m. to catch the arrival. Bring the whole family out for carols, festivities, and fun!

Sail with Santa aboard the Beauport Princess on the water of Gloucester Harbor in Massachusetts

Enjoy a holiday harbor cruise aboard Beauport Cruiselines with Santa! Santa Comes to Essex

After Santa arrives in Essex, kids will have a chance discuss their wish list with him in person!

Kids of all ages are welcome to come down to Essex Town Landing for a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Enjoy Woodman’s chowder and Dunkins’ cocoa and munchkins while we await the arrival, then let the kids take a turn sitting with the big red couple to plead their cases for gifts that breathe and/or are outside of any reasonable budget - you know, all the stuff they can only get from Santa. The arrival itself will happen at 5:00pm and visits will take place on the front porch of the Essex Historical Society & Shipbuilding Museum. Please bring a mask to sit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Hamilton-Wenham Carol Sing & Tree Lighting

Hamilton-Wenham Community hosts a community carol sing and tree lighting in Massachusetts

The Community House Of Hamilton & Wenham invites children to bring their own flashlight or glowsticks for the tree and gazebo lighting and a Christmas Carol Sing for all ages! Join us for a jolly evening of carol singing and holiday cheer, featuring Brian Doser, Peter Stewart, and Stage 284 friends! Santa will be arriving by fire truck at about 7:30pm. Free to attend! Winter Wonderland Pancake Breakfast

Come have breakfast with Santa at the Essex Elementary School in Essex Massachusetts!

Come on up to Essex Elementary School and ring in the cold winter with a hot pancake breakfast! Suggested contribution is $10 per individual or $25 for a family and all proceeds go to Essex Elementary fifth grade students’ end-of-year activities and the student activities fund. Beverly Holiday Parade

Beverly’s annual Holiday Parade will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022. Marching bands, log rollers, majorettes, fire engines and dozens of community floats will join the guest of honor, Santa Claus, to make this a spectacular parade! It’s also a tradition for the parade committee to designate local organizations to benefit from items collected at the parade as well as portions of the funds raised at the event. Every Year the Beverly Holiday likes to Pay It Forward by raising awareness or donations for a local wonderful charitable cause.

Kids will visit with Santa at the Hamilton Wenham Community House

The Community House is pleased to host Santa Claus once again this year as part of our longstanding tradition with our friends from the North Pole. In honor of Santa’s visit, the unique and historic structure, built in 1921, will be decorated in traditional holiday style. Portraits will be taken by Santa’s helpers.
