Kids Con New England is the first and only comic book convention just for kids in New England! Kids Con New England® is New England’s first and largest kids-focused comic con & children’s book event! Meet amazing family-friendly comic book creators, children’s book authors, artists, learn the comic arts, jedi training, superhero training, gaming tournaments, pirate camp, robotic demos, princess sing-along and storytime, kids sketch-off, puppet show, family costume contest and more!
Meet the Character
The Children's Museum of New Hampshire hosts the Make or Break it Club every Friday from 3:00-4:45 pm. Kids ages 6-12 are invited to drop in to try their hand at a variety of hands-on "making" experiences, using real tools and materials. No reservations are required and different experiences are offered each week. The cost is $8 per session for museum members and $10 for non-members. Multi-session punch cards are also available for kids who want to come each week.
Mary Poppins will visit in a family program of interactive stories and songs - a little bit of musical theater at the library. Children may take photos with the famous caregiver and perhaps ask her advice around using spoonfuls of sugar to help the medicine go down. Registration opens on April 1!
Come to Sawyer Free for a morning visit from Mary Poppins! Actress Carole Finn brings the enchanting story of Mary Poppins to life as she interacts with the children in character, and tells us all about Jane and Michalel's adventures with their magical nanny! Finish off her visit by making a chalk drawing! All welcome!
MarketStreet Lynnfield invites families and children to a special morning of superhero themed fun and outdoor ice skating! Visit our Superhero Headquarters [9-10am] inside the Warming Hut to enjoy an hour of exclusive ice time at the Rink and complimentary themed snacks. Each superhero will be equipped with their very own mask and cape.
The Wenham Tea House invites you to a Children's Tea that's a fun and interesting way to pass the afternoon with you and your children! These teas are magical experiences for girls and boys of all ages to interact with their favorite storybook character. We invite a professional actress to dress up as a character from a magical universe and come down to the Tea House and read the character's story to our guests as we serve a delightful menu of treats to you and your loved ones. All children's teas start promptly at 3:30pm and end at 5pm. Prince and Princess dress for the young ones is welcomed and appreciated. Please arrive at 3:15pm to get your seat and beverage selection.
Ice Queen Cosplay Princess Parties & Breanna's Princess Parties are co-hosting a fundraiser, because we want to help Boston Children’s continue its amazing work for kids. Stop by and visit Disney Princesses for a Meet & Greet, story times, sing-a-longs, and more! There are expected to be about 20 characters in attendance including Iron Man, Wonder Woamn and Spider Man! 100% of the profit from this event will be donated to Boston Children's Hospital! Tickets will be $10 at the door. There will also be a silent auction.
The Trustees of Reservations invite you to Ravenswood Park to meet Elsa at their Pre-K Winter Story Time by the Woodstove! Free if you become a member at the program. The Wenham Tea House invites you to a breakfast for kids who love LEGOs! Kids will enjoy a breakfast buffet to enjoy along side an exhibit of unique and rare LEGO builds that are sure to impress. Participants will have a LEGO building workshop, and each child will receive a small LEGO building kit to take home.
Meet Cinderella against the magical backdrop of Ruth Sanderson’s fairytale illustrations in the museum’s new exhibit, A Magical Journey Through Fairytales. Cinderella will read stories and sing songs with visitors. Fairytale or magical dress-up attire encouraged! Space for this program is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
