PlumFest is a non-profit volunteer-run organization incorporated as a Charitable Foundation to bring local musicians, island residents and visitors together to showcase the natural beauty and artistry that make Plum Island such a special place. As an early participant in the “porch-fest” movement that is gaining popularity nation-wide, PlumFest brings our own unique flavor to the mix, with an event that is sure to please.

Soak up the sun with your friends, and some amazing musical acts. Hosted by 92.5 The River in partnership with Salisbury Beach Partnership and the NEW Salisbury Beach Carousel. The 22nd Annual Riverfest takes place once again this year on the Broadway Boardwalk at Salisbury Beach, Massachusetts on Saturday, August 24th, 2024. It’s a free show open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to get there early for a day of great live music!

Join the Amesbury Carriage Museum & Industrial History Center for a family-friendly open house about all things automobiles! Amesbury, known as “carriage town,” also had a thriving early automobile industry. Makers including Pontiac, Durant, General Motors, Cadillac, Rolls Royce, and more chose Amesbury carriage makers to build their first automobile bodies. Come learn about this hidden history of Amesbury and see vintage and antique vehicles and artifacts from the early automotive era on display.

Come listen to some great music by two bands made up of Salem residents and others from Grade 7 through adult, under the direction of Cynthia Napierkowski, director of the Salem High School Band. Event takes place at the Salem Willows Shell, with the Salem High School Auditorium serving as a rain location.
