Bees are in trouble and humans can help. Within the past few years, a syndrome has been destroying bee colonies world-wide in a cycle referred to as Colony Collapse Disorder. In 'Queen of the Sun', director Taggart Siegel explores the world of bees and looks for answers to the sudden crisis that is threatening bee populations around the planet. Come to this screening at the Waldorf School at Moraine Farm on the The Trustees of Reservations Moraine Farm to learn more about the bees' plight and Moraine Farm's plan to make a difference for the bees.

The Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestra will perform FREE at the Shalin Liu

Under the musical direction of Gerald Dolan, Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras offers ensemble experience to young musicians from more than 40 North Shore, Merrimack Valley, Southern New Hampshire, and Southern Maine communities. Conducted by outstanding area music professionals, students rehearse in large and small ensembles and perform several concerts throughout the year.

Parade of Peeps at NPL

The Parade of Peeps at NPL promises to be a deliciously good time!

The Newburyport Public Library invites patrons of all ages to make marshmallow masterpieces for our 1st Annual Parade of Peeps! Show off your sweet skills by creating a scene in a standard size shoebox with Peeps portraying a piece of literature, a movie, or a famous event. There will be four age categories for the competition: Families (with children up to 5th grade), Tweens (grades 5-8), Teens (grades 9-12), and Adults.

Animal Treasure Hunt Fundraiser

Kids will have a blast at this treasure hunt and fund raiser!

Join us in a treasure hunt for animals in the Great House museum rooms. Participants will receive a small gift and be entered into a drawing for special prizes! There will be more fun with animal crafts and displays. Proceeds will equally benefit the Ipswich Humane Group and The Trustees of Reservations.
