Free meals for kids! Triton Food Service Department will be offering free meals in various locations. Summer Feeding Sites are open 11am-1pm daily. Lunch will be available at Lion's Park in Salisbury. Two sites in Ipswich will have grab and go breakfast and lunch available.
Each chocolate Easter Rabbit half is filled with creamy butter caramel, Harbors Sweets famous almond butter crunch and whole toasted almonds. This little guy has been a family favorite of ours for many years now and is definitely going in our baskets again this year. It makes a lovely dinner host gift too.
The Open Door needs help to give Holiday Meal Baskets to local families this year. A donation of $30 provides a turkey, potatoes, butternut squash, apples, stuffing, cranberry and more. These baskets make a big difference to people in need during the holidays, and will be distributed to registered families and individuals who need a little help setting the table for the November and December holidays.

The The Trustees of Reservations is pleased to announce the launch of a new Dairy Share Program at Appleton Farms in Ipswich, MA. For the first time since Appleton Farms began milking cows at the farm over ten years ago, the public will be able to purchase a Full or Half Dairy Share with Appleton Farms’ very own farmstead cheese, yogurt, and milk!
A lot of great things have happened at Appleton Farms in 2012, most notably establishing their dairy operation and open their farm store to the public. Milk produced by the farm's Jersey Cow herd was sold as soon as the store opened, followed by an offering of cheeses earlier this fall. To round out the product line, they just started selling farm-fresh yogurt!
We got into the spirit of Christmas early this year. We've already sat on Santa's lap, we've learned and sung Christmas carols to the point of humming them throughout the day, and we've eaten far to many holiday cookies! We've created some of our own family traditions over the years and a Holiday Cookie Crawl has been a great addition to the fun.
Appleton Farms in Ipswich has added cheese to the list of dairy products made fresh on-site. A spreadable 'pub' cheese, a creamy ricotta style cheese and barrel churned hand packed butter are all now available at the dairy store in addition to their milk products that are exponentially superior to store bought milk.
The Newburyport Public Library invites patrons of all ages to make marshmallow masterpieces for our 1st Annual Parade of Peeps! Show off your sweet skills by creating a scene in a standard size shoebox with Peeps portraying a piece of literature, a movie, or a famous event. There will be four age categories for the competition: Families (with children up to 5th grade), Tweens (grades 5-8), Teens (grades 9-12), and Adults.
