February Vacation at MIT Museum

Kids will have a blast at the MIT Museum in Cambridge Massachusetts during February Vacation Week!

Come on your own, with friends, or bring the whole family to the museum for a special week of programming. The museum has a number of activities planned for the week of February 14-22, including extended Maker Hub and Learning Lab hours, tours, gallery cart demos and family workshops. With the exception of family workshops, all activities are free with museum admission. Take a look at the full schedule below, then plan your visit.

Star Wars & Sci-Fi Party at NYS

Newburyport Youth Services hosts a Star Wars Party to celebrate May the 4th!

May the 4th is commonly known as Star Wars Day. This year, Newburyport Youth Services is excited to announce that we will be holding our 2nd Annual Star Wars party from 6:00-8:30pm. Families and kids of all ages are invited to join us for some or all of this “out of this world” event. Whether with the Rebel Alliance or the Galactic Empire… all are welcome.

Family Night in the Aqua Room

It’s Family Night in the Aqua Room every Tuesday night from 5-8pm at Cape Ann Marina

It's Family Night in the Aqua Room every Tuesday night from 5-8pm. Kids pay their age for day passes and no one pays more than $10 a pass. Come with the family and enjoy an evening swim in the heated indoor pool with colorful pool lights. There are plenty of flat screen TV's, full-service bar, and extensive dinner menu available for food and drinks poolside. Note: One adult must be present for every three Junior/Youth swimmers at all times & absolutely no outside food or beverage is permitted.

The Cabot Summer Family Fun Nights - Chicken Run

Come see Chicken Run for $1 at the Cabot in Beverly Massachusetts!

Summer Family Fun Nights continues at The Cabot with a bit of magic – fresh off the 20th anniversary of the first Harry Potter book being published, we bring you Chicken Run! This film series, sponsored by Marblehead Bank, will take place every Wednesday in July at 7pm, and admission is only $1!

Nautical Night 2017 at MIT is a night of exploration at the MIT Museum!

MIT Museum invites you for an evening of nautically-themed science and engineering! The museums annual Nautical Night event celebrates the sea, and MIT’s rich history in nautical design and research. We’ve planned interactive demonstrations, short talks, and a rare chance to view plans and prints from our renowned collection. Visit from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. for this free event. Second Friday Programs are oriented for open exploration with opportunities to attend performances, demonstrations, and lectures through out the museum galleries. Dollar Deal Night at CMNH

Every Friday night, families can use visit the Children's Museum of New Hampshir

All families are invited to the Children's Museum of New Hampshire on the first Friday night of every month during the school year for Dollar Deal Night! For just $1/person, families are free to explore and experience the museum as a low cost night out together. The Children’s Museum is not normally open at night, so this is also a special treat to visit after-hours and enjoy creative play before bedtime.
