Step back into the 1920s during this season’s monthly Open Houses at The Stevens-Coolidge Place. Curious to see the full house? Join the Trustees for full house tours being offered every half hour from 10am to 2pm on a first come, first serve basis.  The last house tour will begin around 1:30. The tours will bring you through the whole house and will lead you in the story of Helen and John Coolidge.

Appleton Farms' final two Farmers Markets of the year are coming up soon. November 13th will be our Late Fall Farmers Market, perfect for your pre-Thanksgiving shopping. Our Holiday Market will be on December 11th, with lots of items for your winter holiday gift giving, dinners or gatherings.

Celebrate World Oceans Day with Salt! Salt is a real humpback whale who spends her summer in the waters off Massachusetts and is among the most famous whales in the world today. She was first seen in the mid 1970s here in Massachusetts Bay and has been seen just about every year since. Explore inside a 40 foot inflatable replica of Salt and learn about her and her whale family-she has had at least ten calves since researchers started studying her. See the Museum through the eyes of a child with this animated family tour of paintings, sculpture and maritime objects. Learn to think and see like an artist, a fisherman or quarry worker. Created for children ages 3–12 with their caregivers. This 30-minute tour ends in the Activity Center for art projects and play. Free for CAM members or with Museum admission. Space is limited, registration required.
