In even years, part of Manchester by the Sea's July 4th celebrations kick off with a concert at Singing Beach on July 3rd, followed by a Fireworks at 9pm.
Manchester’s annual salute to America is a wonderful tradition, complete with stirring music, precision marching bands, imaginative home made floats, antique cars, and just about everything else that represents the pride and patriotism we all share for our country. Simply stated, Manchester’s Fourth of July Celebration is small town America at its very best!
The Annual Red, White & Blue Pancake Breakfast at Tuck's Point will feature live music, pony rides, a great breakfast and more at the beautiful seaside setting of Tuck's Point! There of course will be pancakes with all the fixings, eggs, bacon, coffee, pony rides and face painting for the kids, and musical entertainment! 50/50 Raffle to benefit the Manchester-Essex Rotary Club Scholarship fund will be drawn at 11:30AM. Take the free water taxi service between Tuck's Point and either Manchester Town Hall or Reid's Park to avoid the traffic, starting at 7:30 AM and running until 11:30 PM. Amesbury Days fireworks display will be on July 4th beginning at around 9pm. Food vendors, favorites from years past and a couple of new ones added in for your enjoyment. Parking is available at Woodsom Farm or Amesbury High School.
Amesbury Days is a a 8-day celebration of all things Amesbury that kicks off the summer with fun and exciting community events in Amesbury, Massachusetts. Fireworks, a block party and a 5k walk/run will be just some of the highlights of this years' Amesbury Days celebration. There will be events for the whole family over the course of 12 days with activities and celebrations drawing people from within and around the city.
Bring Dad to Appleton Farms on Father’s Day weekend for our own seasonal wood-fired pizza, local beer, local BBQ, and live music! We’ll have Notch Brewing on-site serving up some cold suds, and barbecue from Fat Belly Food Truck and Sweet Treats from the Down River Ice Cream.
One of the best was to enjoy the natural beauty of the Massachusetts North Shore is kayaking the placid waters of the Great Marsh—the largest continuous stretch of salt marsh in New England, extending from Cape Ann to New Hampshire. The Castle Neck peninsula on the Crane Estate is a vast barrier beach that protects the tidal estuary of the Essex River basin. Running along its back side is the Castle Neck River, a superb location for paddlers of all skill levels to explore these sheltered waters.
Memorial Day starts with a small ceremony at American Legion Lot at 8:45 Locust Grove Cemetery Lanesville. The parade leaves at 10:00am sharp from American Legion Hall Beach st. to Beech Grove cemetery, the parade will reform and proceed down Pleasant Street to Mount Pleasant St. to Harvey Park where the parade will pause for a brief ceremonial laying of a wreath in Harvey Park and back to White Wharf then American Legion Hall.
