Rockport, Massachusetts, is known for its spirited Independence Day celebrations, and this Fourth of July will be no exception. The day is packed with exciting events, including the Firemen's Parade, a Legion Band concert, and Rockport's unique grand finale - a spectacular bonfire at Back Beach.

Parade Route
The parade kicks off at 6 pm, starting from the school complex on Jerden's Lane. The route continues down South Street to Dock Square, proceeds up Main Street to Beach Street, and concludes at the American Legion bandstand near Back Beach.
Bonfire
Following the parade, enjoy the Legion Band concert at around 8 pm. As dusk falls, typically around 9 pm, the traditional bonfire made from stacked wooden pallets will be ignited at Back Beach, providing a thrilling end to the festivities.
