The Therapy Dog is In! Drop by starting at 3:30pm to get 10-minutes of one-on-one reading time with Keeva and her trainer, Ms. Fleming. Keeva provides a calm, welcoming space for emerging readers to practice their read-aloud skills. Bring a book from home or pick one out at the library - Keeva loves all stories! Join us for a workshop on making Ukrainian Eggs! Presented by Kati Bourque, Head of Technical Services here at the Hamilton-Wenham Library. Learn a brief history of this tradition, then dive into creating your own Ukrainian Egg. This workshop session is reserved for teens in grades 6 through 12. Registration is required. All supplies will be provided. You will be using permanent dye and wax, so wear your getting messy clothes.

From February 1 through March 15, Cradles to Crayons®, the Boston Bruins, Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and Wonderfund are coming together with organizations in your community to collect new pajamas for local children living in low-income and homeless situations. Together, we are looking to collect 10,000 pairs of pajamas. By supporting us with a PJ Drive, you will directly supply new pajamas to the children who need them most so they can stay warm for a good night’s sleep. The Musary brings Charlie Brown's Christmas to The Community House! The Aidan Scrimgeour Trio will bring to life and perform a LIVE version of the Vince Guaraldi holiday masterpiece (John's favorite!). This year they will be joined by members of the HW Elementary School Chorus! The event is FREE, although we kindly encourage attendees to make a suggested donation of $25 to support The Musary. We warmly invite you to join us at the event! As space is limited, admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
