The Village Oasis is a conscientious yoga studio inspired to support the village of caregivers and their children from prenatal through teen. It is our goal to cultivate mindfulness, meaning, balance, and perspective in the hearts of our students via yoga and deliberate community gatherings (kinship).

The Village Oasis yoga studio located on Cabot Street in Beverly, MA offers a fertile respite where caregivers and children can feel nurtured, supported, and enlightened.

Families are invited to try yoga poses, create art, and join in on-the-mat storytelling at the grand opening of The Village Oasis, a new kind of yoga studio for families in Beverly, MA, on Saturday, Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 4-6 pm. Meet the studio’s teachers and hear more about their family-centered approach to yoga including classes for children, parents, grand-friends, and caregivers. Guests will enjoy light refreshments and receive special offers at the opening.

My Life, My Health free workshop at the YWCA Greater Newburyport.

The Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (My Life, My Health) is for anyone living with an on-going medical condition like: high blood pressure, arthritis, heart disease, asthma, chronic back pain, parkinson's, chronic fatigue, fibomyalgia and more. Family members, friends and caregivers can also participate.

Gran Prix of Gloucester

The Gran Prix of Gloucester is an annual international cyclocross race held in Gloucester Massachusetts in the beautiful setting of Stage Fort Park by the sea.

The Gran Prix of Gloucesteris two days of international calibre races where competitors from all over the US, Canada & Europe converge to race in North America by the sea at Stage Fort Park in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Cyclocross is the most spectator-friendly form of bicycle racing, so bring the family and join the excitement.  Who knows? Maybe next year someone in your family will be part of the action! A Short Run for Charity. Are you in Olympic physical condition, subsisting on a carefully calibrated diet and ready to run for miles for a good cause?  Yeah, neither are we. But we can help run for a good cause.  Join members of the Hamilton-Wenham Rotary at The Wenham Country Club for our first annual 0.5K Mini-Marathon. (That’s 1,640 feet)  Proceeds from the “race” will benefit Youth & Senior Services in Hamilton and Wenham.

The Beverly Commons Trail Run benefits the Essex County Greenbelt Association

Sponsored by Greenbelt – Essex County’s Land Trust. This is a  Challenging 3.5 Mile Loop thru the woods of Beverly Commons. The 7 Mile race is part of the 2018 New England Running Company Trail Race. Proceeds support Greenbelt’s land conservation work throughout Essex County.  Go to the Greenwood Ave Trailhead on Race Day.
