Presented by the Salem Maritime National Historic Site, the annual Salem Maritime Festival in August hosts an exciting array of free family fun festivities, including live music, traditional craft demonstrations and seaport trade exhibits, story-telling, and family fun! Each year, music, demonstrations, exhibits, and children's activities are available throughout the park and on Derby Wharf in Salem Massachusetts!

Come join fellow pet lovers at a fun-filled morning at the Beverly Dog Park on Saturday, August 10th, from 9-11 AM as part of Beverly Homecoming! Bring your furry friends for a delightful time featuring exciting raffles, adorable on site painted pet portraits ($), and more. Come to the Greek food Festival at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Chruch in Newburyport during Yankee Homecoming week! Enjoy traditional Greek cuisine: gyros, lamb shanks, moussaka, chicken and lamb kabobs, locanico (Greek sausage), keftethes (meatballs), spinach pie, pastichio, Greek salad, stuffed grape leaves, fish “plaki” (Friday only), Greek Kafenio (Authentic Greek-style coffee and frappes), and delicious Greek pastries and an Agora "Marketplace". On the last weekend of July, artisans and fine craftsfolk from all over New England will show and sell their work on the South Village Green in Ipswich, MA. Olde Ipswich Days is a favorite for all to meet and greet old friends and new, browse the booths and do some early holiday shopping, or make some timely indulgences. The fair features the works of more than 60 artists and crafters. Look for sterling, gold, or beaded jewelry, unusual photography, woodwork, knitted textiles, dried flowers and grapevines, cut or stained glass, tapestry, a variety of pottery, and paintings in all mediums, toys, and handmade soaps, and hot dogs and refreshments.
