Enjoy all that is Newburyport at the we=nbpt Winter Festival at the Tannery Marketplace

WE = NBPT hosts their 3rd annual Winter Festival inside the heated tent at the The Tannery Marketplace in downtown Newburyport, Massachusetts! As always, this event will be showcasing all things that are created by the good people of Newburyport, MA! From the musical performers, to the visual artists, to the beer, to the food, to the raffle prizes, and to everything else involved, Newburyport is home.

Celebrate the Sea Open House

Stop by at Joppa Flats Education Center to learn how we can all take responsibility for sustaining the natural beauty and resources of our oceans and coastline.

A fun-filled day for the whole family about everything from our ocean giants (whales, sharks, sea turtles) to deep sea creatures (octopuses, jellies)! For age 2-6, there are take-home crafts, an under the sea play zone, stuffies, coloring books and simple table-top science. For ages 7 and older, there are displays and interactives about overfishing, microplastics, sea level rise and climate change. Indoors and out. Rain or shine.

Marblehead Winter Carnival

Break up the monotony of Winter at the Marblehead Winter Carnival hosted by Marblehead Rec

Come join the Recreation Department the Marblehead Family Fund for the annual indoor winter carnival. There will be carnival games, a bounce house, giant slidecrafts and more!. This is a wonderful way to break up the monotomy of a cold New England winter and spend a day in town with the family, so bring the family for an afternoon of fun! Funds raised will go towards the Rebuild of the Hobbs Playground!

Newburyport Winter Kite Festival

Come join the fun at the Winter Kite Festival at Maudslay State Park in Newburyport.

Newburyport Youth Services and Kites Over New England invite you to join the fun for a day of winter wonder as kite flyers from around New England bring their large kites to fly over the field at Maudslay State Park. Bring your favorite kite as well! Come to one of two kite making lessons in the morning then fly the kites in the afternoon at Maudslay State Park.

MarketStreet Lynnfield celebrates the season with Hay Day at MarketStreet on Sunday, October 20, from 2:00-5:00 pm

Join us for a day filled with all your fall favorites and experience the season like never before.

We’re bringing back the good ol’ days with an outdoor roller rink surrounded by carnival games, a beer garden, giant pumpkin patch, a fall cook-off, sidewalk sales, live music and more!

This event, for all ages, will take place next to California Pizza Kitchen at the far end of our property.

Drop-in, unstructured Lego building fun! Come with friends or come to make new ones, this program is for kids ages six and up.

Chess Instruction at Abbot Library

Kids can play clocked chess matches against each other each Wednesday at the Abbot Public Library in Marblehead Massachusetts
