The Yankee Homecoming Waterfront Concert Series invites you to enjoy Big Band music by the sea with Blue Note Big Band! For many, the highlight of Newburyport's historic weeklong Yankee Homecoming festival is the Saturday night waterfront concert followed by a spectacular fireworks display. It will be our highlight this year, for sure, as we entertain the "Yankee Homecomers" from 7:15 right up until the fireworks at 9:15.

Our passion is bringing communities together and celebrating our favorite era of music, the 1970’s into early 80’s. We perform during the summer at Hampton Beach, at reunions and home town events.

Join us to decorate fish, make cardboard river-themed creature costumes (shad? herring? stickleback? turtles? which one is your favorite?), and more! We’re making costumes so that next week, on April 29th, we can parade down Main Street to the riverwalk in our creations. Ipswich’s own Monarch Gardener will be donating native seeds that pollinators love so you can help our local pollinators thrive!
Lynn Woods - The South Side Lynn Woods is one of the largest municipal forests in the United States at 2,200 acres. Walden Pond (not Thoreau’s) divides the park into northern and southern sections. In this walk we’ll explore the older, south side of the park following mostly wide Ox paths.
Rockafellas Salem is having a party for the kids this Halloween season! Put on a costume and bring your kids to the fun in the Colonial Hall. There will be a DJ spinning some great music and providing entertainment, fun games, activities and costume contests! Snack and beverages will be served, and all children who attend will receive a goodie bag!
