On this riverboat outing into the heart of the Essex River basin, we will be setting sail in the protected waters of the Crane Wildlife Refuge, one of the most scenic sections of the Great Marsh—the largest contiguous salt marsh in New England.

Castle Hill Picnic Concerts are back! Pack a picnic supper and enjoy an evening of live music on the magnificent Grand Allee. Stroll the grounds and explore the newly restored gardens while you enjoy a night out on the estate. Gates open at 5PM for picnicking. Advance ticket reservations are recommended but not required.
Join Amesbury Public Library for an interactive storytime outdoors with stories, songs, actions, and fun! We'll end with stations around for kids and adults to explore. Storytimes are great ways to build literacy skills and create learning experiences as well as a great social event. Younger siblings are welcome, but please bring children who are in our age range for this program.
We invite children with their grown-ups to join our friends from the Amesbury Public Library each month for stories inspired by farming and the season's harvest! This program will be held on the main lawn near the chickens. In the event of rain, story time will be under the picnic tent.

Regarded as one of the best rummage sales on the North Shore and a tradition for over 50 years as a fundraiser for the nonprofit Wenham Museum, shoppers will find the best deals on vintage fashions, gently used clothing, costume jewelry, fabrics, records, prints, frames, and many more collectibles and maybe a painting or rare book. New treasures will be displayed daily.
