Glen Urquhart School Summer Program in Beverly MA

Join us for a special summer program at GUS! Our long-standing tradition of combining educational, hands-on workshops with easygoing summertime fun for children ages 4 to 14 continues. Our camp atmosphere is noncompetitive, creative, inquisitive, playful, and relaxed. We welcome children from schools all over the North Shore and beyond.

New this Year! Two new workshops for middle school students, “The Art of Leadership” and “The Art and Craft of Songwriting,” taught by Head of Glen Urquhart School Dave Provost. An all new program for children ages 4 to 5 taught by Joy Sullivan. A new afternoon option “campus kids” for children ages 4 to 8 and many new specialty workshops for all ages.

Who could forget the classic line, "You're gonna need a bigger boat." Come see the movie that changed swimming at the beach forever (and keep in mind it will scare the living daylights out of the kids)! Enjoy a beautiful Summer night on at the ocean's edge at Lynch Park. Bring a blanket, a picnic dinner and enjoy the beauty of a Summer night under the stars!  The Snack Bar will be open for the movie.

Dress in your very best for a supercalifragalisticexpialidocious evening of live music, dancing, a raffle, and an auction!
Ticket includes valet parking, light refreshments, and hosted beer, wine, and signature cocktails.

There's carpets of bulbs in bloom, aself-guided daffodil walk, a craft in the Children’s Garden, and for the third year, guided tours of the mansion, free refreshments and people can Pick-Their-Own daffodil bouquet at the PYO Flower Fields.  This day is sure to brighten everyone’s spring! Waring School: Summer String Music Festival

Waring School Summer Music String Festival Summer Program for Kids 8-18

A one-week intensive musical experience for string players that combines practice and performance in a string orchestra as well as the joys of summer time fun.

The instructors at Waring School know that summer is an ideal time for young musicians (ages 8 to 18) to spend a rewarding week playing together in a string orchestra. Located on our beautiful 32-acre campus in Beverly, the Waring School is offering a fun-filled and educationally rich musical experience to the talented string players of the North Shore.

This one-week day camp will bring together the talents of many of the North Shore's best music teachers to present an orchestral program ideally suited to the age and level of each child. This week will culminate in a final performance for family and community.

You do not have access to view this node invites teens to get in the holiday spirit at an awesome holiday party, as planned by the teen advisory board, featuring a holiday movie, a yankee swap book exchange and cookie decorating!!! (for you to eat and/or give as gifts) Bring ONE WRAPPED BOOK with you. The book should be in good condition, and one you think other teens will enjoy. (Wrapping paper will be available in case you forget to wrap your book or need help.) Registration required so we have enough cookies for all!
