Skills+ is a two-week course for middle and high school students who need to improve their organizational, time management, and other executive function skills. Students will develop strong study habits and boost academic achievement—all in a small, low-pressure setting.

In the Minecraft class, kids will explore using red stone to build simple machines and build a house based on real architectural styles. Explore digital logic by learning to design and build complex mechanisms, traps, and combination locks.
Kids will start creating their own video game in the Video Gaming class! Plus, learn what career paths you can pursue that include video game play and design.
Day camp for all ages. The North Shore YMCA Summer Camps offer children positive developmental experiences that build confidence through skill-building activities suited to their age.
Campers are able to explore creativity, teamwork and leadership in a wide range of physically active programs that influence lifelong healthy living. Discover the awesome architecture and design all around you on Cape Ann. Explore Cape Ann Museum’s summer exhibit Design/Build: The Drawings of Phillips & Holloran, Architects and visit local historic houses. Kid’s will have fun drawing plans, painting a skyline and creating toys.

Build friendships and memories to last a lifetime! YMCA of the North Shore camps offer a variety of experiences for children of all ages.
Join us for a special summer program at GUS! Our long-standing tradition of combining educational, hands-on workshops with easygoing summertime fun for children ages 4 to 14 continues. Our camp atmosphere is noncompetitive, creative, inquisitive, playful, and relaxed. We welcome children from schools all over the North Shore and beyond.
New this Year! Two new workshops for middle school students, “The Art of Leadership” and “The Art and Craft of Songwriting,” taught by Head of Glen Urquhart School Dave Provost. An all new program for children ages 4 to 5 taught by Joy Sullivan. A new afternoon option “campus kids” for children ages 4 to 8 and many new specialty workshops for all ages.
Eastern Point Day School offers two great options for children this summer.
Summer Adventures Bookmaking Program is offered to children entering 1st – 6th Grade. This popular North Shore program is offered in one week, all day session, to aspiring authors who write and publish their own stories and books culminating with “coffee house” readings to families and friends on Friday afternoon.
