Celebrate the Holidays on Thanksgiving weekend with the Cape Ann Symphony conducted by Yoichi Udagawa. The annual Holiday Pops is a musical celebration of the season. The Cape Ann Symphony Chorus now under the direction of Brittany Betts will join the orchestra for a Holiday Pops series for the whole family. The ever popular audience sing-along concludes the performance.

During the plant swap kids and kids of all ages can paint a pot and plant a seed of their choice. Bring it home your creation and watch it grow!
Please join the Cape Ann Symphony Woodwind Quintet and pianist Kathleen Forgac, presenting musical fantasies and works inspired by myths, legends and lore. This program will explore the magical sounds of the woodwind quintet and then showcase each of the instruments alone featuring works by Nielson, Poulenc, Mouquet, Debussy and others.
Named for the host community of Manchester-by-the-Sea, the race provides scenic views. Race through the historic and charming downtown and past the pristine fresh water lakes in nearby Hamilton, MA.
Join us on the front lawn of the library for the cosmic event of the year! We will have a good view of an almost complete eclipse so long as the weather cooperates. We have a limited number of eclipse glasses that will be handed out during the event, 1 per person on a 1st come 1st served bases starting at 3PM. We will stream the full totality eclipse inside on the big screen. Come enjoy a celestial themed snack.
Calling all ages! Create a diorama, using those deliciously sweet, marshmallow Peeps as your main characters. Let your imagination run to peeps as you illustrate your favorite book or movie. Bags of peeps are available at the library (while supplies last), or supply your own.
Ipswich Public Library hosts Curious Creatures, New England's original interactive and educational live animal program. Their staff of experienced and professional exhibitors teach respect and appreciation for exotic and unusual animals. The presentation is hands-on, interactive and can be tailored to meet your individual needs. We include interesting facts and stories about our creatures in an educational and entertaining environment.
