Gloucester Education Foundation is proud to host the 6th Power of Play Festival, a day of play for families and kids of all ages. Play is an important learning tool that promotes creative and innovative thinking. Play also helps kids develop skills that are a foundation for life-long success, including critical thinking, communication, problem solving, and collaboration. All are welcome to come experience interactive, hands-on, inclusive, low-tech activities in six areas: MOVE, CREATE, GAMES, TOUCH, BUILD, and DISCOVER!

Waldorf School's Running of the Gnomes 5k

Waldorf School's Running of the Gnomes 5k at Moraine Farm in Beverly Massachusetts

Waldorf School at Moraine Farm hosts their  first ever 5K trail race through Moraine Farm! This is an exclusive opportunity to run on this private property, thanks to our Moraine Farm partners at Project Adventure. After the run enjoy a healthy picnic celebration with music, games and fun. Your registration fee includes a lunch ticket. Alternately, if you are not a runner and would like to participate in the picnic celebration, you can purchase a $10 meal ticket through the registration link below.

Waldorf School at Moraine Farm Celebrates 30 Years of Building Character. Honorary Chairman Congressman Seth Moulton and Board of Trustees cordially invite you to join in the fun for the 30th Anniversary Spring Soiree. Atendees will enjoy a night of celebration with dinner by Bonne Bouche Catering, Dessert from Pure Pastry Desserts and dancing with a ten piece Swing Band.

Under The Sea Pajama Party to support Sandy Bay Preschool

Sandy Bay Preschool invites the community to a family event filled with games, crafts, and raffles. Children are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas and bring a sleeping bag for a showing of hometown favorite, Finding Nemo!

Pizza, snacks & family friendly drinks will be available for purchase. Picnics are welcome but no alcohol please.

Women love him, men want to be him and teenage girls around the country scream with glee at the mere mention of his name. But when the United States Army drafts Birdie, manager Albert Peterson sees his meal ticket preparing to fly the coop (much to the delight of longtime love Rose Alvarez, who can’t wait for Albert to ditch the music biz and become something respectable, like an English teacher).
