Aaron Nigel Smith is a Grammy® Nominated reggae singer, songwriter, musician, and Billboard #1 recording artist based in Portland, OR. He has performed at events and venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Lollapalooza, and Pickathon, and throughout South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He founded FUNdamentals of Music & Movement, a fun approach to music classes for preschool children, which was later scaled to a national program and sold to RockStarts.
After 29 years and 11,475 performances, STOMP closed in New York City on January 8, 2023, and went on tour. STOMP - a live experience of dance, rhythm and percussion is coming to Lynn Massachusetts! Matchboxes, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, and more fill the stage with energizing beats at STOMP: the inventive and invigorating stage show that’s dance, music, and theatrical performance blended together in one electrifying rhythm.
Join Scrooge on the Salem Trolley as you ride through Salem Massachusetts in this rolling production performed by the Griffen Theater . Now entering into its 34th Season, this humorous & whimsical interactive performance reanimates Dickens’ timeless seasonal holiday classic. Experience Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol with a twist. Ride along with Scrooge on the Salem Trolley as the classic tale is brought to life in a completely unexpected way. Shows sell out quickly and seats are limited. Tickets go on sale Monday, September 11, 2023.
Edward Speck and Joshua Shack bring back a favorite TITO Holiday Panto. We’ve updated our version of this classic fairy tale, added a holiday spin, plenty of adorable mice and even a few playful clowns to lead audiences on an enchanted adventure. It’s everything that you loved the first time you saw Cinderella, with some new surprises, just for fun!
The Annual Middle Street Walk is a great way to experience Gloucester's Historic District while having Holiday fun with the family. An updated schedule of this years walk will be available for download on December 1, 2023 at this link.
Firehouse Center for the Arts hosts Joppa Dance Company for their performance of Winter Wonder Neverland! This dance-theater production follows Peter Pan, Wendy, Tinker Bell and friends as they try to rescue Christmas back from Captain Hook. It’s full of Pirates, Lost Boys and Fairies.
Celebrate the fish city’s recognizably salty character with local cultural institutions and businesses during the 3rd Annual Gloucester’s So Salty festival on January 20 and 21, 2024 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm! Over 1,800 people came out last year to share their salty pride while enjoying free ice sculptures and cultural activities around Downtown Gloucester.
The North Shore Christian Men’s Choir and the Rockport Baptist Church invite you to join them for their annual pre-Pageant Christmas concert in the church sanctuary. All are welcome to come celebrate the Christmas season with them, and enjoy an afternoon with good friends and great music.
