Maudslay State Park has created this program for their youngest crowd! For the young set that loves nature, the park interpreter will lead a three-part preschool aged program that includes a story, craft & walk that involves outdoor exploration. A different nature topic each week so come every week!

The Newbuyrport Yankee Homecoming Bed Race is an annual event in Newburyport hosted by the Lions Club of Newburyport. The race is a ¼ mile team sprint down Federal Street to the finish line. Each team consists of 3 pushers, 2 pullers and a 'sleeper', and the goal is to get to the finish line with the bed and sleeper in the fastest time! This is a fun event for the community and always draws a big crowd. Come cheer on your favorite team, or just watch the fun! Funds raised will go to Lions Club charities.
Newburyport Yankee Homecoming Kid's Day in the Park in hosted by the Newburyport Exchange Club. This free event starts with a parade for decorated bikes and doll carriages, with prizes for the best ones! After that, kids can get their faces painted, experience Theater in the Open, relax with a story organized by the Newburyport Library, participate in a sing-alongs, and watch a police department K9 demonstration. There will also be free food and drinks available starting at noon. Please stop by and join the fun!

Participants will come away with everything they need to get started, including pre-made and blank character sheets and a custom one-shot adventure (an adventure playable in a single session) they can bring home.

The show attracts car owners and crowds from across New England and has become the prime classic car event of the summer. Located on the waterfront, the Misselwood Estate offers unrivaled lawn and oceanfront setting with views of the Atlantic Ocean, which forms an incredible backdrop for iconic cars and motorcycles and will turn the event in a great family-friendly weekend.

Come to the Greek food Festival at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Chruch in Newburyport during Yankee Homecoming week! Now in its 31st year, this one mile road race, occurring during Newburyport's Historic Yankee Homecoming Festival. It features multiple races including a children's heat with medals for all the little finishers! Cash prizes for overall and age group winners! There will be snacks and beverages at the finish line and beer tickets for a free beer and post race viewing party at the Winner's Circle Sport's Bar post race! Proceeds to benefit Winner's Circle Running Club and Newburyport All-Sports Boosters.
