For 41 years there has been the Art on Bartlet Mall painting show the first weekend of Yankee Homecoming. This year 60 artists again will be showing all media of work including a few hand-pulled printing artists. The artists are from Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and even New Jersey. There are award winners in over half of the participants.

The world renowned rock guitarist’s first break came in 1987 when Ozzy Osbourne liked Hoey’s tape enough to fly him to LA for an audition and encouraging him to move to the West Coast.

The Yankee Homecoming Waterfront Concert Series presents Singer/Songwriter Timmy Brown, who hails from Norton Mass and has been singing and performing since the age of 5. In October 2018, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue his dreams full time. In 2017, Brown was voted New England Country Music’s Local Male Artist of the Year for the second consecutive year. His infectious energy and talent have made him a local favorite, around the New England and Rhode Island area. In the fall of 2017, he auditioned for “American Idol,” for Season 1 of the re-boot on their new network ABC, where he finished in the top 60!
The Merrimack Valley Ship Model club will exhibit a wide range and variety of ship models displaying tiny miniatures, and modest rowing craft in contrast with ocean going vessels. MVSMC members will be at the exhibit demonstrating modeling techniques and sharing back ground stories about the models on display.
