CFCE of the North Shore sponsors this fun, interactive program for preschool children and their caregivers, live and in person! Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional behavior, and language in overall literacy. It helps the body and mind work together. Music also helps with fine motor skills. Children who are exposed to music during early development are helped to learn the sounds and meanings of words. Registration is required – please call the Children’s Room at (781) 631-1481. This program is for ages 0-5 years old.
Children ages 7 plus are invited to this weekly workshop to learn how to create a foundation chain, make a single-crochet stitch, and finish a small square/rectangle. They will produce a piece of fabric that could be a coaster, potholder, etc. We provide the materials and registration is required – please call the Children’s Room at (781) 631-1481.

Join us for our annual visit from Santa, tree lighting, and holiday carols with Jambalaya Horns. Inside the library, there will be crafts and snacks until Santa's arrival.
Once we have sung along with Jambalaya Horns and lit our tree kids can come inside and give Santa their letter.
Come to the library parking lot for a festival of transportation! Brought to you by the fire, police, and public works departments of Hamilton and Wenham, Dodge Tree Service, and Lyons Ambulance. This is a rain or shine event. Families of all ages are welcome, no registration necessary.
