Marblehead Festival of the Arts Chalk Art Display for Amateurs and Professionals

Chalk This Way is Marblehead Festival of the Arts inaugural event highlighting 23 amateur and professional chalk artists who will transform our sidewalks into a captivating one-of-a-kind arts experience. ​ Sidewalk Art will be distributed throughout the main areas of town and where other festival activities are happening. ​ If you are an amateur or professional artist and would like to display your favorite place in town through chalk.

Comic Workshop | Creating Comic Strips and Gag Cartoons

Join Boston-based author/illustrator Jonathan Todd for a four-week comic making workshop in Manchsester Massachusetts

Ages 11-16: Boston-based author/illustrator Jonathan Todd (the upcoming Scholastic graphic novel “Timid") is back, this time for a two-hour workshop on writing and drawing cartoons geared for laughs.  Registration is limited to 20 participants, and art supplies are included. The Yankee Homecoming Waterfront Concert Series invites you to enjoy Big Band music by the sea with Blue Note Big Band! For many, the highlight of Newburyport's historic weeklong Yankee Homecoming festival is the Saturday night waterfront concert followed by a spectacular fireworks display. It will be our highlight this year, for sure, as we entertain the "Yankee Homecomers" from 7:15 right up until the fireworks at 9:15.
