The Headless Horseman Rides Again! This Friday 10/23 at 7pm in the Ipswich Meeting House, storyteller J.T. Turner portrays Washington Irving telling his most famous tale, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Taking on all the roles of this Halloween tale, Turner has adapted the piece to keep all ages entertained. It is story theater at its best.

On Mondays, toddlers and their siblings may come from 9:30 to 10:30.We will again read stories, sing songs, make a craft and play games.

The festival offers tours, kid-friendly fun, farm animals, lectures, homemade goodies and storytelling activities sponsored by the six non-profit organizations that own and manage the 170-acre farm. Moraine Farm is permanently protected conservation land along the shores of Wenham Lake that includes meadows, woodlands and formal gardens as well as farmland. The landscape was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted in the 1880s and its woodlands are studded with mature rhododendron stands and azaleas.

He was drawn to the subject in all its forms, from rain, fog, mist and clouds to ice and snow. He also photographed water's effects in tide pools, weathered buildings and erosion patterns.
