Discover and identify different tide level zones and the unique creatures that cat these habitats their home. The 1st LT Derek Hines Soldiers Assistance Fund is excited to return to Cashman Park for the 13th Annual Flag Day 5K road race. The 5K walk or run will be hosted on June 15th, 2024 at Cashman Park in Newburyport, MA. We look forward to gathering in person this year as we continue to honor 1st LT Derek Hines and provide financial assistance for Massachusetts’ soldiers, and their families, who have incurred serious, career-ending, and life-altering injuries while on active duty.

Celebrate Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States with Cape Ann Museum! The 4th Annual Gloucester Juneteenth Celebration, presented by the Cape Ann Museum in collaboration with community organizations across the city, began as a grassroots initiative by Gloucester resident Toni Waldron in 2021 and became part of the museum's annual events calendar in 2022. Learn about the Juneteenth Holiday and its connection to Cape Ann history while celebrating Black history through music, dance, and food.
