Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras will perform a Thanksgiving concert to benefit the Ipswich Community Food Pantry. Come enjoy great music presented by some of the most talented youngsters on the North Shore and help the food pantry when it is needed the most - the week of Thanksgiving! Donations will be collected to benefit the Thanksgiving Basket Project of a local food pantry.
The TOHP Burnham Public Library invites kids to fun puppet show featuring Lindsay and Her Puppet Pals! These unique and clever puppets are nearly life size and full of character to match. Lindsay's stories are both heartfelt and hilarious and you're likely to learn a valuable lesson or two to boot! Don't miss this special presentation! Invite friends! Vered is an award winning musician who brings the joys and intricacies of family life to music. Inspired by her experience as a music therapist and psychotherapist, and her experience as a mom of three, Vered approaches relationships in the family with wonder, curiosity, and humor. Her music is reminiscent of a Doo-Wop band, using playful vocal harmonies, lively horns, pots and pans, and beatboxing to get everyone jumping and singing along. Using music, movement and macabre pageantry, Theater in the Open will explore the emotional tension and otherworldly atmosphere that underscore the work of Edgar Allan Poe. Your favorite fearful Poe poems and stories — including The Raven and The Fall of the House of Usher — come to life at this all-ages show. We'll perform by lantern light in the historic GEDNEY HOUSE at 21 High Street, Salem.

Join us for the official kickoff of the Theater in the Open 40th Anniversary Season! Edward Speck and Joshua Shack know that we need a spring panto to celebrate the change in seasons at Maudslay State Park. This year, they’ll collaborate to create another completely original panto based on a beloved story, Peter Pan. Pirates, fairies and Lost Boys will abound in this whimsically goofy take on the J. M. Barrie classic.
