SalemRecycles is hosting their annual textile recycling event! Clean out your closets the green way - drop off USABLE and UNUSABLE textiles at SalemRecycles' fifth annual Clothing and Textile Recycling Drive. Look for the Goodwill truck in Riley Plaza (212 Washington Street, Salem). Usable items will be sold in Goodwill stores; unusable items will be recycled into new products.

Take a FREE guided tour of "Ansel Adams, At the Water's Edge" at the Peabody Essex Museum . Ansel Adams' appreciation for water was never far from the surface. He was drawn to the subject in all its forms, from rain, fog, mist and clouds to ice and snow. He also photographed water's effects in tide pools, weathered buildings and erosion patterns.
The Phoenix School Summer Program 2014 - We pick up where other camps leave off!
Summer Adventures @ Phoenix are offered at the beginning and the end of the summer. From outdoor exploration of natural habitats to the real world excitement of technology and the arts, come spend some of your summer with The Phoenix School. Summer Adventures at Phoenix is a series of week long programs held for two weeks at the end of June and the last two weeks in August.
French native speaker and French teacher Caroline, will introduce the French language to babies with songs, rhythms, and games.
Children from infant to 14 months will learn the colors, sing the most popular French lullabies, and hear numbers, alphabet, animals and more! Each week will have a different theme. A book will be read and toys will at the disposition of the babies during the class.

Hop on down to Pickering Wharf for the annual Easter Egg Hunt with The Easter Bunny. Bring the family along for a fun filled time. The hunt starts 1 p.m. at The Happy Sunflower and continues along the Wharf. At 2 p.m., photos with The Easter Bunny in front of The Happy Sunflower.
Event is free for the whole family to attend.
Candy for egg hunt was donated so there may be some with nuts.

Cinema Salem steps outside of their normal operating procedures each Monday morning to create a baby friendly environment for the “Baby and Me Show”. These showings are especially designed for moms, dads, grandparents, & nannies, and give attendees the chance to see first run movies and enjoy a film with other infant caregivers!
Chill out with chainsaws, chisels and professional ice carver Don Chapelle. Watch the artist demonstrate the tools of the trade and create your own ice piece to add to our collaborative sculpture.
