Boot Camp For Birth Support & Beyond for caregivers at Beverly Hospital in Massachusetts

Most education surrounding childbirth focuses on the person carrying the child, as it rightly should. Those in the role of supporting childbirth (spouses, significant others, couples using a surrogate, etc) should be equally as prepared for the joys and challenges in store. In this class you’ll hear from both “veterans” and others currently in a birth support role and get to ask the questions and have the conversations that would seem less appropriate and / or a lower priority in other birth education classes.

Trunk or Treat at Ipswich YMCA

Ipswich Massachusetts YMCA wiil host a Halloween trunk or treat in their parking lot.

FREE FAMILY EVENT! Join in on the fun and decorate your trunk, wear a costume, and hand out candy or prizes. Winner of the best trunk will receive a special prize. Safety and sanitation guidelines will be enforced for this outside event! Be sure you register all members of your family by selecting the amount attending in the drop down menu when registering!

You do not have access to view this node Educator Robin O'Neil engages youngsters twice weekly with tales and songs about the farm and the animals that live there. This is a no registration event, with drop ins welcome. Themes change from week to week, so there's always something new for young and curious minds!

Baby Boot Camp

At Baby Boot Camp, moms get exercise while kids have fun!

Baby Boot Camp stroller-based fitness classes are designed specifically to help moms get fit. It takes the place of a personal trainer at a time in your life when you need one more than ever. Classes combine strength-training exercises with cardiovascular drills. Pilates, yoga and abdominal exercises help improve core strength. The stroller, resistance tubes (and even your child!) are used as an integral part of the workout. Come try it - the first class is always FREE!
