If you have ever seen tracks in the snow, sand, or soil and were curious about what made them, then this is the program for you! Refuge staff will lead you through the basics of identifying common animals through the clues that they leave behind. A brief introduction to animal tracks and other sign in the visitor center classroom will be followed by a trip to the refuge where we will look for tracks and attempt to determine their owner’s identity.
Bug Out! with Karen K and her imaginary friends, the Jitterbugs: Hop (working on his self control); Stinky (loves playing outside, refuses baths); and Slug Bug (needs a LOT of naps).

The NCS Winter Concert features the 140-voice chorus, professional soloists, orchestra, and the Greater Newburyport Children's Chorus, all performing classical, traditional and “sing-along” seasonal favorites! The program will highlight Camille Saint-Saëns’ beautiful Christmas Oratorio, various musical settings of Lo How A Rose E’er Blooming, and an exciting multi-cultural piece from South Africa entitled, Hope for Resolution.

Ichabod Crane is the newly-hired school teacher in the post-Revolutionary War village of Sleepy Hollow. Ichabod is the kind of soft-spoken, seemingly timid sort who is constantly bullied by the ruffians who loiter about the Sleepy Hollow Tavern.
