The Festival by the Sea is an annual event hosted by the Manchester Division of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, this all-day extravaganza taps into the long-line of local talent with musical and artistic performers alike. Festival by the Sea is a celebration of the things that are synonymous with Cape Ann in the summertime: Art, Music & Food ! Booths will be spread throughout downtown Manchester and Masconomo Park. The Rowley Farmers Market is an open air market held on Sundays on the Rowley Town Common. There's always a great selection of fresh local produce, food stuffs and locally hand-made goods. Come pick up some great locally grown food, freshly baked bread by Faith Anne's Unique bread, specialty teas and herbals by Dawn's Herbal, locally made yarn from Spin a Yarn Farms, locally made maple syrup and honey from local bee keepers.
The Salem Jazz and Soul Festival has always been about bringing great music to the people of Salem, so we are bringing the Salem Jazz and Soul Festival downtown this year with a special one day event at Salem Willows Park. Enjoy live performances, vendors market, educational workshops, and more!
Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 8th for the 3rd annual Magtoberfest. Lexington will be filled with food, music, vendors, and fun. This Community Block Party is also a fundraiser for the Magnolia Library and the Magnolia Community Farmer's Market. A parking shuttle will be available from Stage Fort Park and is an easy way to get to the event.
North Shore Children's Museum is hosting a monthly homeschool meet-up. It takes place during the 1-4 PM play session. A private party room will be reserved for homeschoolers to gather for self-directed lessons.
This program with North Shore Nature Programs is for families with children of all ages. We'll walk the trails at a farm in Ipswich to explore different signs that wildlife leave in winter, like footprints, scat, nesting materials, and more. Bundle up and get ready to have fun!
Birka Lodge #732 is proud to welcome everyone to our 39th annual Swedish Yule Fair (Traditional Jul Marknad). Free admission and parking. The St. Lucia procession (Bride of Light) will be at 12:00pm. Scandinavian & American holiday music will be played all day.

There's nothing like October in Salem and the Salem Common Neighborhood Association is thrilled to host two weekends of our annual Kids Fun Fest on the Common including rides, face painting, slides and family fun! There is no admission fee to enter the Fun Fest. Ticket purchase proceeds benefit the Salem Common Neighborhood Association.
