Cape Ann Waldorf School welcomes parents to visit and to observe the Waldorf curriculum in action on Tuesday, April 30, from 8:15 to 10:15. CAWS is now enrolling first grade.

Founded in 1986, Cape Ann Waldorf School is enrolling children into our rising First Grade for fall, 2013. Come learn more about the advantages of a Waldorf educational approach at our upcoming “Walk through the Grade School” during Main Lesson. Meet our First Grade teacher.

In a continuing effort to instill music appreciation at an early age, Music Mania encourages students to explore basic concepts such as pitch matching, healthy use of the singing voice and proper technique for classroom instruments. Students are introduced to musical theater, symphonic music, theory, world music and listening - all presented in exciting and fun ways using a beloved piece of children's literature as a theme for games, singing, and instrument exploration.

Usher in spring with Women in Action on Saturday, April 6th from 9:30-11:30a.m. by helping The Food Project start seedlings in the greenhouse at Glen Urquhart School in Beverly. Women in Action is dedicated to increasing access to nutritious food and physical activity for underserved children.  Last year, volunteers helped start 4,864 seedlings for The Food Project's North Shore farms in just one morning.
