Landmark School is hosting a community Electronics Recycling event for friends and neighbors to be able to dispose of their broken or unwanted electronics responsibly. The event is a community service fundraiser so a small fee will be charged for donated electronics. Laptops, cell phones, PCs, stereos, fans, blenders, air conditioners, printers, monitors, small refrigerators, microwaves—anything with a plug! Spread the word.
Celebrate Earth Week at GUS with a variety of hands-on activities and nature-based projects led by GUS educators and partners from across the North Shore. This is a free, family-friendly event, open to the public.
Come to this once-a-year event sponsored by the Firends of EES and meet local artists as they share their crafts with hands-on projects designed for kids. Join the Newburyport Education Foundation for their Lighthouse Auction to raise funds that will go to enhance the quality of public education in the Newburyport School District. This auction is the biggest fundraiser of the year for NEF, raising over $100,000! This years' auction proceeds will go to the District-Wide STEM Initiative (Phase 2 &3) at the Molin Upper Elementary, Nock Middle School, and Newburyport High School
