The Yankee Homecoming Road Race has been a tradition Since 1960 and Running Strong through the heart of Newburyport

The tradition continues in 2024 on Tuesday, July 30th as the Lions Club celebrates the 64th running of the NBPT Lions Yankee Homecoming Race. Imagine a beautiful Summer evening in the seaport town of Newburyport, Massachusetts. Thousands of runners will enjoy our breathtaking 5K & 10 Miles courses along the ocean, through the bustling downtown and charming New England neighborhoods. The NBPT Lions Yankee Homecoming 5K and 10M courses are truly picturesque as they have been for decades.

The Marblehead Festival of Arts 5k Race/Walk will kick off the fourth of July weekend!

Get ready to lace up those running shoes because it's time for the 2nd annual MFoA 5k, and guess what? We've got something new this year – a 10k distance!​  And here's the best part – everyone who crosses that finish line will snag a sweet custom commemorative finisher’s medal! Plus, we're dishing out awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age division and the top 3 teams will receive awards.

Derek Hines Flag Day 5k

Run the Flag Day 5k and raise funds for Massachusetts Veterans who have sustained serious injury in the line of duty

The 1st LT Derek Hines Soldiers Assistance Fund is excited to return to Cashman Park for the 13th Annual Flag Day 5K road race. The 5K walk or run will be hosted on June 15th, 2024 at Cashman Park in Newburyport, MA. We look forward to gathering in person this year as we continue to honor 1st LT Derek Hines and provide financial assistance for Massachusetts’ soldiers, and their families, who have incurred serious, career-ending, and life-altering injuries while on active duty.

The Magnolia Community Farmer’s Market will reopen in June of 2021 with a full line up of vendors, followers, entertainment and community purpose. We hope to offer favorite flavors, produce and products, created and operated by local vendors, crafters, artisans, farmers, purveyors, bakers, and chefs. Our dedicated team will strive to provide the very best in local goods while creating a new avenue to give back to our community.
